Drew Kostic, JD, holds a B.A. in psychology from Colgate University, a JD from Duke University School of Law, and a Graduate Certificate in Brewing Science from Auburn University. In addition to being part of the Brewing Science faculty, Drew is the general manager and head brewer at New Realm Brewing on Auburn University’s campus. He teaches The Business of Brewing (HOSP 7100) and takes on interns for the Practicum in Brewing Science (HOSP 7910) at the campus brewery. Drew won best brewery in New York City in 2020 with Circa Brewing Co. and brewed at seven different breweries, both large and small, throughout his career. Prior to becoming a brewer, Drew practiced law in New York City for six years, during which he spent two years as the senior clerk to the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of International Trade. In 2008, Drew was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English and psychology in Warsaw, Poland.
