My name is Carsen Smith and I am a senior pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Event Management. I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama, and moved to Auburn in 2019 to begin my college education. When I originally started at Auburn I was majoring in Law & Justice, and then became a Physics major. It wasn't until I began working at The Hotel at Auburn University in 2020 that I discovered my passion for events and quickly changed my major for the final time to pursue a career in hospitality! Being in the industry for 3 years has taught me a lot, and Auburn's program has provided me with so many amazing opportunities that I will always be grateful for. I am so excited to take what I have learned from my experience as a leader in the Hotel's banquet department, along with my education from Auburn University, and execute the Hospitality Gala this year - it's going to be amazing!
